We had never embarked on a build and renovation of this scale before.
Every room in the house, except two, was impacted, either changing size, shape or use. It was important therefore that we worked with a builder that could guide us through the process.
Dave, Ross and the team helped make living through the build as bearable as possible and stuck rigidly to our budget, coming in to the original quote to the penny. They were with us every day for 6 months and kept us informed (and entertained) all the way, sometimes even Matt’s singing was in tune!
We have recommend them to loads of our friends and will continue to do so, and we’ve had them back ourselves since, to do more work.

All the building work was finished on time and within budget, with no hidden extras. The standard of work was exemplary. Every member of the team were efficient and polite.

I employed Reynolds Construction to build our ground floor extension and I am very pleased that I did. They were involved through every stage of the design, planning and build and provided a high class finished product. Dave and Ross were excellent at the inevitable problems solving and were very conscious that the solutions they proposed were stylish, useable and complimented the design.

This is the third time we have used Dave and have always been happy. Dave is so helpful and will take time to explain any questions you may have. He responds swiftly by email, phone or text.
The first time we used Dave we got multiple quotes, now we don’t bother. He is completely honest, which is refreshing in the building trade. Dave has never charged us more than quoted unless we have added extras to the original quote.
The last job was quoted 3-4 weeks and finalised in 3 1/2 weeks. You won’t find a builder more considerate than Dave, they plastic sheet everything prior to working and clean up everyday. We had a 3 month baby while the work was going on and it didn’t cause us any additional stress.
From the moment we met with Reynolds Construction we felt completely at ease and relieved we had found the right company to work with on our varied building projects which included modernising our 1960s detached house.
Over a period of about 18 months, we had a huge amount of work undertaken by Dave and his team – this including a single-storey extension to the rear of our property across the kitchen and lounge with sliding doors across both areas, as well as a brand new detached double-bay garage and a new porch/hallway to the front of our property too.
Reynolds Construction also carried out our internal decorating and internal tiling to a very high standard as well as providing other carpentry, plastering and plumbing/heating jobs we required as part of the build.
During Phase 2 David and his team have been back to our property to fit external cladding to both the house and the garage, as well as building a new pitched roof to our existing boot room. Excellent communication throughout all the stages – David and his team are very approachable with extremely high attention to detail and a high quality finish with everything they work on.
We are beyond pleased with the results - we’ve now got the home of our dreams!
Highly recommend and we will definitely be calling on them again for future projects.
